Jay and I both felt that the time was right for us to serve a mission. We have a great desire to serve in St. George. We sent in our mission papers in October 2012.
Jay and I received our Mission call on December 13, 2012. Jay and I both received a letter from President Thomas S. Monson. The letters read: Dear Elder and Sister Bowcutt: You are hereby called to serve as a missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. You are assigned to labor in the Utah St. George Mission. Your primary assignment is to labor as a visitors' center missionary.
We are to report to the Provo Missionary Training Center on Monday, July 1, 2013. We are very excited to be able to serve in St. George, Utah.
