ANOTHER GREAT EXPERIENCE AT THE VCENTER

I was in the VC Annex just visiting with everyone that came in and THEN there was this couple from Germany. I was standing at the desk and welcomed them. We exchanged small talk and they said they were in St. George on business and would be back every 6 months or so. They had been surrounded by LDS members that past few days and just could not stop talking about the difference they readily saw in us vs. there countrymen in Germany. Kind, listen, positive, happy, secure are just a few of the things they noticed. They stopped by the VC to learn about "Mormons" and our beliefs. They asked if members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints were also the people they had been with called Mormons. They had no clue about us or our beliefs other than the goodness they saw in their business associates in St. George that are LDS. I was with them for over 50 minutes explaining about our Church, Prophets, the Restoration of the Gospel, Temples, etc. etc. They were like sponges as I just could not feed them fast enough. They identified themselves as he- Catholic, she- Protestant. They both took a Book of Mormon in German, and promised to read and pray about it. They also said they were open to Missionaries in Germany visiting them, but wanted to read first. We will see if they will email me with their thoughts as they read. I hope to see them again, when they are back here in 6 months.
The Church is TRUE! Our EXAMPLE is always on display!
