We drove home to Perry July 5. I will miss the beautiful sunsets in Perry. Went back to the MTC on Monday morning. I drove my car too the and Jay drove the Cadillac.
Elder and Sister Morgan were the St. George visitor center directors, recently released in January 2013. He might be part of the answer as to why we were so blessed to have our Mission Call to St. George. They are the couple on the far left. They are now teaching the new visitor center missionaries at the MTC for the church. We were in training with five other senior visitor center missionary couples. Wednesday, July 10, we drove from the MTC to St. George. Thursday, was part of our travel day so we just got everything unpacked and arranged in our home in St. George. That night we got together with all the other senior missionaries in St. George for a good-bye and Hello party. It was nice to be able to meet the missionaries we will be serving with. There are twelve Senior couples serving in St. George Visitor and Historic Sites. We are the youngest! This picture shows the Missionaries in our MTC training the second week. They are going to Nauvoo, Winter Quarters, Mesa Temple visitor center and of course us to St. George.
