Serving in the Red Rocks

We spent our first day as missionaries in the St. George Tabernacle. We were trained by Elder and Sister Davis.  That night we went to a concert in the Tabernacle.  It was a very enjoyable evening.  During the summer, there are musical performances each Friday evening at the Tabernacle.  In the month of December, the performances are every evening and during the winter there are performances Wednesday and Friday evenings.  As Missionaries, one of our assignments is to conduct all of these performances.

 

Brian and his family drove down from Perry on their way to Texas.  It was fun visiting with them. They came and saw us at the St. George Temple Visitor center and we were able to take them through the Center. 

 The visitor center is located on the south east corner of the Temple block.  We enjoy working there and visiting with all the people that drop by to learn more about our church.  We have had some very spiritual experiences in our short two weeks of serving in this and the other Historical Sites.
